Become a Benefits Specialist with Westland Insurance Group in Surrey, BC. This hybrid role seeks an adept professional skilled in benefits administration and employee support.
You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end management of benefits programs across Canada and the U.S. With over five years of progressive experience, your analytical and detail-oriented mindset will aid in effective governance, compliance, and enhancements focused on employee experiences, especially during critical moments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee administration of all Canadian and U.S. benefits programs
• Provide support for employee onboarding and life events
• Ensure accurate vendor payments and program compliance
• Identify trends for continual program improvement
• Implement efficient processes while managing risks and audits
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in benefits administration or HR roles
• Strong compliance knowledge in multi-provincial settings
• Advanced Excel proficiency for audits and reporting
• Experience handling escalated inquiries with empathy
• CPHR or CEBS designation is preferred
