Position: TALENT ACQUISTION SPECIALIST
Overview
Dick's Lumber is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and hiring the best-qualified employees, while factoring in the long-term goals of an organization. This role is also responsible for promoting the company’s brand through recruitment initiatives and events.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs and candidate selection criteria

Source candidates through online channels, such as Linked In and other professional networks

Create job postings and post internally as well as externally on various job boards

Screen resumes and send best qualified candidates to hiring managers for review

Prepare offer letters for hiring managers

Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build strong candidate pipeline

Qualifications

Two to three years of experience in talent acquisition

Experience in full-cycle recruiting, including various interview techniques and evaluation methods

Proficiency with social media, resume databases and job posting boards

Excellent computer skills and experience working with MS Office

Ability to develop and maintain strong, positive workplace relationships
