Join the Payroll team at the Ministry Office in Surrey as a Payroll Administrator on a temporary full-time basis. Ensure accurate payroll processing and support benefits administration throughout your contract.
This position focuses on precise bi-weekly payroll processing, documentation maintenance, and effective collaboration with Human Resources and other departments. As a key player, you will handle inquiries, reconcile benefits, and prepare essential payroll reports. Your expertise in payroll compliance and record-keeping will be vital as you support team members effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and timely
• Maintain team member payroll records and benefits details
• Reconcile payroll data with Human Resources and finance teams
• Prepare Records of Employment and year-end tax reports
• Respond to payroll inquiries from team members
Requirements:
• Payroll Compliance Practitioner designation required
• Experience processing Canadian payroll in complex environments
• Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
