Responsibilities
The incoming lawyer will be hitting the ground running, taking on and handling a sizeable file load while supporting the partners on more complex matters. This work will consist of a wide range of family law matters, including but not limited to separations and divorces, spousal and child support, custody matters, and complex property division matters. There will also be expectations for the incumbent lawyer to begin business development activities and building up their own clients.

Qualifications

  • Called to the BC Bar and be in good standing
  • 3+ years of experience post call to the BC Bar. Focused experience with family law considered a strong asset
  • Be comfortable with a billable target of 1500
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
