Senior Manager, Environmental Health & Safety
A leading manufacturer is seeking a strategic EHS leader to drive safety, environmental, and sustainability programs. Reporting to senior leadership, you’ll ensure compliance, manage risk, and embed a culture of safety across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead EHS strategy, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and manage audits, inspections, and emergency preparedness.
- Champion safety culture through training, incident management, and sustainability initiatives.
- Advise leadership and promote EHS accountability across teams.
- Bachelor’s in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years EHS experience in manufacturing/industrial environments; 5+ years in leadership.
- Knowledge of WorkSafeBC, BC Fire Code, Canada Labour Code, and environmental regulations.
- Proven leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills; professional certifications preferred.
