The Service Supervisor plays a vital role in the safe, efficient, and economical operation of the branch. This role oversees a mechanical team responsible for maintaining and repairing construction equipment. Location: Surrey, BC
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 annually, plus safety incentive and eligibility for OT
Work Arrangement: Fixed on site – working at the branch each day
Schedule
: 5x2 (Monday to Friday)

What You’ll Do

Lead and guide a team of Heavy Equipment Technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service and repairs.

Plan, organize, and prioritize daily work to keep operations running efficiently.

Coach and develop your team through hands-on guidance, feedback, and performance discussions.

Partner with technical experts and stay current on evolving industry practices and technologies.

Champion a strong safety culture through proactive inspections, training, and incident prevention.

Build trusted relationships with customers, resolving issues quickly and ensuring exceptional service.

Collaborate across departments to enhance the overall customer experience and operational success.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in the heavy equipment industry. Other qualifications include:

Journeyperson level certification in a relevant trade is preferred.

Position requires a thorough knowledge of maintenance and repair of construction/mining equipment.

Strong knowledge of safety regulations, protocols, and best practices.

Solid understanding of standard service and branch processes.

Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service.

Demonstrated ability to lead through change and influence outcomes.

Valid Class 5/G driver’s license.
