Vice President, Finance

INDEQCO is a well-established, values-driven industry leader in rock and foundation drilling equipment, sales, parts and service and manufacturing, serving critical infrastructure, mining, and construction markets across Western Canada with growing expansion into the United States. Today, INDEQCO has two operating divisions:
Surrey based Traxxon, and Calgary based Pinnacle Drilling Products. The company, in its entirety, has built its reputation on premium equipment solutions, deep product expertise, and strong aftermarket service. To support its next phase of growth, INDEQCO’s CEO has made a strategic decision to launch a search to recruit a technically strong Vice President, Finance who can serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, leadership team and the Board. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP Finance will be responsible for enterprise‑wide financial stewardship including operational finance, management and board reporting, working capital management, capital allocation, risk oversight, and M&A activities.

In carrying out their responsibility, the VP will oversee the accounting and IT teams.

The ideal candidate is a technically sound CPA with progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within a capital‑intensive industry such as heavy equipment, industrial distribution, construction, mining, or manufacturing. They are articulate, a straightforward communicator who can tailor their messaging in a variety of environments, from shop floor interactions to quarterly board presentations. They are entrepreneurial by nature, comfortable at operating at both strategic and tactical levels.

Commercially astute and operationally curious, they understand the drivers, risks, and opportunities of the business and are not afraid to roll up their sleeves and embed themselves into INDEQCO’s business units.

Based in Surrey, working with teams in both Surrey and Calgary, this is an exceptional opportunity for a strategically minded, operationally grounded finance executive who thrives in a hands‑on, entrepreneurial environment.
