Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this executive position requires a strategic thinker skilled in financial planning, internal controls, and compliance audits. The Executive Director will cultivate collaborations with government and health authorities while developing effective strategies for the Internal Audit department. Your leadership will ensure the successful implementation of a risk-based audit plan across all departments in Fraser Health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the Internal Audit department's strategic direction
• Develop and monitor financial and workforce plans
• Review audit reports and present to stakeholders
• Serve as a resource on legislation and trends
• Represent Fraser Health with external parties
Requirements:
• Master's Degree and Professional Accounting Designation
• 10+ years of internal audit experience
• Knowledge of auditing standards and internal controls
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills
• Certification as an Internal Auditor preferred
Drive audit innovation and accountability at Fraser Health, ensuring best practices and effective governance across the organization.
