As the Executive Director, you will develop innovative internal audit programs while collaborating extensively with leaders across the health sector. This role includes managing audit processes, developing strategic plans, and enhancing internal controls to meet organizational objectives. Your efforts will ensure compliance and accountability across various departments, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the Internal Audit strategic plan
• Oversee financial and operational audits for compliance
• Provide guidance on best practices and reporting findings
• Manage relationships with government and external authorities
• Regularly brief stakeholders on audit progress
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree with Professional Accounting Designation
• Minimum of 10 years in large-scale internal audit
• Expertise in internal controls and risk management
• Strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities
• Certification as an Internal Auditor is an asset
