As the Indigenous Climate Action and Reforestation Manager, you will lead efforts to implement sustainable forestry practices within Métis communities. Your job will integrate project oversight and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the success of reforestation programs. You will support the development of internal environmental policies and manage grants while enhancing biodiversity and climate resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate reforestation project execution and partnerships
• Implement community training and education initiatives
• Oversee monitoring and compliance of program activities
• Build relationships with First Nations and government entities
• Produce comprehensive program and financial reports
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary education in environmental studies
• At least five years of program management experience
• Strong analytical and organizational capabilities
• Ability to articulate Indigenous environmental perspectives
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data management
