The Director manages a diverse team conducting complex investigations into serious incidents involving police actions. Reporting directly to the Chief of Investigations, this role utilizes Major Case Management principles to drive timely and evidence-led inquiries. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage complex investigations into police-related incidents
• Ensure investigations adhere to Major Case Management principles
• Lead a diverse investigation team with high-profile cases
• Provide mentorship and effective leadership to staff
• Implement process improvements for efficient operations
Requirements:
• Minimum seven years in law enforcement or investigative body
• Proven experience managing homicide and serious crime cases
• Strong knowledge of electronic file management
• Minimum four years managing staff in investigations
• Valid BC Driver’s licence or eligibility to obtain one
Support the community while leading critical investigations as the Director of Investigations.
