Position SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and strategic Leader, Career Pathways & Advanced Training to drive the development and delivery of innovative workforce development programs across Fraser Health.
In this leadership role, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, design, implementation, promotion, evaluation, and continuous improvement of programs that support career pathways and advanced training initiatives. You will play a key role in building sustainable infrastructure, processes, and resources that enhance workforce capability and align with organizational priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the strategic planning, design, implementation, promotion, and evaluation of career pathways and advanced training programs across Fraser Health.
- Develop and maintain the processes, infrastructure, and resources required to support program success.
- Provide leadership in establishing and reviewing standards, policies, protocols, and processes for program design and delivery.
- Chair and lead committees and working groups, fostering collaboration across clinical and organizational partners.
- Conduct continuous quality improvement reviews, ensuring effective implementation of enhancements.
- Evaluate and monitor program outcomes, using data and evidence to drive decision‑making.
- Ensure all programs reflect leading practices, evidence-based approaches, and align with provincial and federal regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance innovation in workforce development and professional practice.
Education & Experience
- Master’s Degree in a health care profession, education, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of recent, related experience in a complex health care environment, including:
- Progressive professional practice and/or education experience
- Project management
- Leadership experience
- Current practicing registration or certification with the relevant regulatory college and/or professional association in British Columbia.
- Strategic thinking and systems leadership
- Strong project and program management capabilities
- Expertise in professional practice, education, and workforce development
- Ability to lead change and drive innovation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Data‑driven decision‑making and evaluation expertise
