In this managerial role, you will maintain, update, and enhance payroll systems across different provinces. Your responsibilities include implementing payroll policies, overseeing government remittances, and ensuring timely employee payments. Additionally, you will lead and develop a motivated payroll team, driving performance excellence and fostering collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and improve payroll processes across jurisdictions
• Implement payroll policies and standard operating procedures
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of payroll payments
• Verify hours with managers prior to payroll submission
• Prepare year-end payroll reports and reconcile accounts
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience in management
• PCP or PLP Designation required
• Experience with enterprise payroll systems, preferably Ceridian Dayforce
• Deep knowledge of provincial payroll legislation
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills
