Position: Facilities Manager at FortisBC
Lead complex capital projects with FortisBC as a Facilities Manager in Surrey, BC. Drive strategic initiatives in energy efficiency and sustainability while ensuring optimal asset performance.

As a key leader in the Facilities capital program, you will oversee high-value projects from planning to execution. This role demands a blend of engineering, finance, and regulatory knowledge to achieve operational excellence while meeting sustainability goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure projects align with approved scopes and corporate policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead execution of Facilities capital program aligned with multi-year plans

• Develop executable project schedules from asset renewal strategies

• Oversee project alignment with costs, timelines, and quality

• Maintain relationships with internal teams and regulatory stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and safety standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 4 years’ experience

• Project Management Professional designation preferred

• Strong understanding of utility industry regulations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP

• Valid driver’s license required
