As the Managing Director, your focus will be on advancing BCCF's conservation mandate through effective organizational performance. Reporting directly to the Board, you will execute business plans, enhance stakeholder partnerships, and lead various conservation projects. This dynamic position suits a leader with experience in financial oversight and operational excellence in the nonprofit sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement strategic priorities set by the Board
• Oversee all daily operations and team management
• Develop and monitor financial plans and budgets
• Ensure effective delivery of conservation programs
• Support fundraising and stakeholder engagement efforts
Requirements:
• Degree in business or environmental science
• 10+ years in senior leadership roles
• Proven experience with nonprofit financial management
• Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and governance
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams
Lead BCCF's mission to conserve BC's ecosystems while managing organizational growth and efficiency.
