Temporary Youth Outreach Worker

Join our Youth Services Program as a Youth Outreach Worker in Surrey, BC, where you can directly support youth aged 16-19 on their path to independence. This temporary full-time role requires a passion for youth advocacy and empowerment.

You will work one-on-one to help youth build essential skills, navigate challenges, and connect with local community resources. This position focuses on developing goal-driven strategies and providing life-skills instruction necessary for success in education and employment settings. Collaborating with team members will enhance your effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and understand individual youth needs

• Develop and guide life-skills learning plans

• Connect youth to helpful community resources

• Maintain thorough documentation and reports

• Contribute to positive team dynamics and program development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area

• Experience working with youth with various challenges

• Basic First Aid certification required

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Valid driver’s license and transportation available
