Youth Program Coordinator BC

DIVERSE city is hiring a full-time Program Coordinator for its Future Leaders initiative in Surrey, BC. Engage youth through program management and community outreach in this hybrid role.
As a Program Coordinator, you will support program delivery, conduct participant intakes, and perform essential outreach to attract youth participants. The role requires effective collaboration with stakeholders, organization of events, and meticulous record-keeping to enhance program success. Additionally, you will schedule and support volunteers while compiling data for management reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in program activities and delivery under the Manager

• Record detailed meeting notes and participant information

• Plan and execute community events focused on youth

• Foster partnerships with local service providers

• Track program data for internal evaluations
Requirements:

• Diploma in a related field, with preference for Career Development Practitioner

• Two years of experience in project coordination and youth engagement

• Understanding of immigrant and settlement challenges

• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written

• Proven organizational skills and ability to work with minimal oversight
