Development Officer, Leadership Giving Fraser Region

Drive transformative fundraising as a Development Officer with the BC Cancer Foundation, focusing on leadership giving in the Fraser Region. Leverage your expertise to cultivate major gifts and enhance donor relationships.

As part of the Discovery Circle team, you will manage a diverse portfolio of over 250 mid-level prospects. This position involves engaging with donors through face-to-face meetings and strategic communications to secure gifts ranging from $1,000 to $25,000. You will collaborate with Foundation staff to align various donor engagement programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate, secure, and steward gifts from mid-level donors

• Analyze giving patterns to identify growth opportunities

• Engage high-profile stakeholders and volunteers

• Set and achieve annual fundraising goals aligned with strategic priorities

• Maintain accurate donor information in Raiser’s Edge

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in a related field

• 3 years of fundraising or donor relations experience

• Proven ability to secure mid-level gifts

• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle

• Willingness to travel within the Fraser Region
