Fund Development Coordinator

Position: Oak Ridges Hospice Fund Development Coordinator
Enhance fundraising efforts with Oak Ridges Hospice as a Fund Development Coordinator. Lead donor relations, manage key events, and drive vital contributions for compassionate end-of-life care.

As a key member of the Oak Ridges Hospice team, the Fund Development Coordinator reports to the Fund Development and Communications Lead. This full-time role requires a strategic thinker with at least five years in fundraising, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong command of communication methods. You will engage with donors, develop stewardship plans, and ensure compliance with fundraising standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support strategic fundraising initiatives to meet operational needs

• Cultivate and solicit donations from diverse donor groups

• Organize impactful fundraising events with volunteers

• Oversee third-party fundraising activities and community outreach

• Research and submit grant proposals to potential funders

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience

• Minimum 5 years in fundraising with success track record

• Strong communication and presentation abilities

• Knowledge of fundraising software and ethics

• Valid Ontario driver’s license and vehicle
