SFU Associate Director of Recognition

Join Simon Fraser University as the Associate Director of Recognition and Stewardship. Focus on enhancing relations with major donors through innovative programs in a hybrid setting.

This position is part of the Advancement & Alumni Engagement team, focusing on creating compelling donor experiences and effective communication strategies. You will be responsible for implementing recognition plans that showcase donor impact and encourage further investment in the Stephens Family School of Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage impactful donor recognition events

• Create tailored communication strategies for major donors

• Identify opportunities for donor engagement and appreciation

• Collaborate with diverse teams to enhance donor relations

• Execute plans to demonstrate the value of philanthropic support

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Business Administration

• Six years of related fundraising experience

• Exceptional organizational and project management skills

• Strong written and oral communication expertise

• Creative approach to developing donor recognition programs
