Cascadia Metals is actively seeking qualified candidates for the position of Inside/Outside Sales Representative to work from our Pork Kells branch. In this permanent, full-time role, we are looking for a driven team member, who shares our champion mindset and values. The successful candidates must have a strong work ethic, passion to be part of the team

Responsibilities:

• Achieve territory business objectives, including sales goals and growth targets.
• Develop, implement, and execute a comprehensive territory business plan.
• Prospect and cold call to establish new customer relationships and generate additional business.
• Maintain and strengthen partnerships with existing customers while building long-term relationships with new clients.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and their applications.
• Provide support to the inside sales team as needed.
• Actively pursue opportunities to position the company's products and services in the market.
• Promote and maintain strong customer relationships by addressing inquiries, fulfilling customer needs, and resolving issues effectively.
• Collaborate with sales and administrative teams to prepare proposals, create quotes, and process customer orders.
• Utilize a consultative sales approach to enhance customer relationships in all aspects, including product recommendations and support.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience in the metal industry, with specialization in aluminum. Aluminum extrusion experience is a plus.
• Vehicle ownership (driver's abstract may be requested)
• Ability for overnight travel (during weekdays)
• A post-secondary degree and previous experience in steel industry
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior sales experience
