Rental and Sales Coordinator – Heavy Equipment
We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused, and motivated Rental and Sales Coordinator to join our heavy equipment team. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge and experience with heavy construction and dirt equipment, including excavators, loaders, skid steers, dozers, compactors, telehandlers, and other related machinery. This role combines both rental coordination and equipment sales responsibilities. The successful candidate will assist customers with equipment rentals and sales, manage day-to-day rental operations, build strong client relationships, and help grow business opportunities within the construction and heavy equipment industry.
Responsibilities- Manage rental and sales inquiries through phone, email, and walk-in customers professionally
- Coordinate equipment rental and sales schedules, availability, deliveries, and pickups
- Assist customers in selecting the correct heavy equipment, attachments, and tools for their projects
- Maintain customer records, equipment files, documentation
- Promote rental services and equipment sales to new and existing clients
- Follow up on leads, quotations, and customer inquiries to generate new business opportunities
- Negotiate rental and sales terms while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction
- Perform equipment walk-arounds and basic condition inspections before and after rentals
- Support marketing and business development initiatives to increase company revenue
- Strong knowledge of heavy construction and dirt equipment, including:
- Excavators
- Wheel loaders
- Skid steers
- Backhoes
- Dozers
- Rollers/Compactors
- Telehandlers
- Other earthmoving and construction equipment
- Previous experience in heavy equipment rental, construction equipment sales, or related industry
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated with the ability to build long-term customer relationships

Pay: $17.85-$32.31 per hour
