Business Development Manager – Fleet Team

Action Car and Truck Accessories is Canada’s only National Fleet Upfitter and automotive accessory retailer and distributor with 44 locations across the country.

Based in the Greater Vancouver area, the Business Development Manager is responsible for creating and managing customer accounts with fleet customers in the assigned business region. The role involves maintaining strong customer relationships by problem solving, providing knowledge and assistance, and making regular visits to customer locations.

• Visit new and existing fleet customers at their place of business
• Learn main product lines quickly and provide product knowledge to customers
• Build solid relationships both internally and externally
• Use and maintain the CRM system
• Provide quotes and consult with current and existing customers on their fleet upfit needs
• Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory
• Ensure consistent, ongoing communication with stores within the region
• Complete and submit weekly sales activity reports
• Attend and participate in trade shows
• Travel regularly within BC and occasionally to other areas of the country

• Minimum college diploma (or equivalent), preferably in sales or automotive
• Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the automotive industry
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Solid computer skills

$65,000 to $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
