Senior Regulatory Specialist

Ideal candidates are Registered Professional Biologists with 5 to 10 years of expertise in aquatic environments within British Columbia. This role involves coordinating environmental assessments, analyzing data, and preparing comprehensive reports that meet both regulatory requirements and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee environmental assessments and coordinate project teams

• Report on environmental impacts for regulatory submissions

• Secure regulatory approvals from DFO and FLNRO

• Analyze ecological data to support project objectives

• Mentor junior team members in office and field settings

Requirements:

• Degree in Aquatic Biology, Environmental Science, or Ecology

• Minimum of 5 to 10 years relevant experience

• Familiarity with environmental regulations and legislation

• Excellent technical writing and communication skills

• Valid BC driver’s license and readiness for fieldwork
