Position: Senior Environmental Review Officer Role
Become a Senior Environmental Review Officer at the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission. Lead vital environmental assessments and public engagements to protect environmental standards.

This role, available nationwide, seeks candidates ready for significant responsibility within the Environmental Review Division. You will oversee environmental assessment programs, facilitate discussions among diverse stakeholders, and ensure compliance with legislation such as the Impact Assessment Act and CEAA 2012. Your expertise will contribute to the transparency of environmental decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage environmental and impact assessment processes for projects

• Conduct technical reviews and provide detailed reports

• Participate in meetings with key stakeholders and Indigenous groups

• Assist in public outreach and information sessions

• Contribute to annual reports to Parliament and the Commission

Requirements:

• Degree in environmental science, management, or similar field
