Position: (CAN) Maintenance Associate- Building (Wednesday to Saturday, 8:00AM - 18:30PM)
Position Summary
Responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of building equipment (Shrink wrappers, automatic freezer doors, HVAC units, UPS, lighting, garbage compacting equipment, fire doors, emergency generator, fire alarm systems, MHE, overhead doors, dock plates, trailer restraints, racking, garbage handling equipment, etc).
What you'll do
Primary responsibilities will be the repair and preventative maintenance of building equipment including shrink wrappers, automatic freezer doors, HVAC units, UPS, lighting, garbage compacting equipment, fire doors, emergency generator, fire alarm systems, etc.Support CMMS and associated Maintenance processes.Blueprint interpretation, including electrical, mechanical, and structural.Commitment to promoting Health and Safety in a team environment.Understand and effectively follow all procedures, policies including those established by the equipment manufacturer.Performance of all duties in accordance with Provincial laws, training and company procedures.Strong knowledge of lock out/tag out procedures.Maintaining productivity and hygiene standards in accordance with policy.The rate of pay for this position starts from $29.72/hr.
