Make a difference at Amica White Rock as a Maintenance Assistant, focusing on facility upkeep and safety. This full-time position offers an opportunity to connect with the senior community.
At Amica, we are seeking a dedicated Full Time Maintenance Assistant. You will work alongside the Maintenance Coordinator to ensure the facility is well-maintained and safe for residents. Responsibilities include handling repairs, conducting inspections, and supporting the overall operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete daily work orders with precision
• Repair equipment and perform facility maintenance
• Undertake painting and touch-up work
• Inspect the premises and grounds daily
• Conduct fire safety and security inspections
Requirements:
• Completed Grade 12 education
• Basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work
• Ability to carry 50 lbs of materials
• Knowledge of HVAC systems beneficial
• Familiarity with safety codes an asset
