Electric Power Cable Technician

Arctic Arrow aims to enhance its team with a Power Cable Technician who possesses hands-on experience in the installation and repair of transmission and distribution cable systems. This role, based at our Surrey Operational Centre, requires reliability, expertise in splicing, and effective communication throughout projects. You will work actively to maintain safe work environments while ensuring quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and repair overhead and underground cable systems
• Interpret specifications and drawings for proper assembly
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations during projects
• Operate trenchers and other cable installation tools
• Maintain organized work spaces following safety protocols
Requirements:
• Journeyman certification or recognized trade qualification required
• Minimum 1-10 years of experience in related fields
• Clean Class 3 Driver's License strongly preferred
• Ability to obtain necessary safety certifications
• Experience with voltages from 12kV to 230kV
