Jacob Bros is on the lookout for a Heavy Duty Mechanic with a strong background in heavy equipment repair. This permanent position involves diagnosing and servicing Caterpillar, Hitachi, Deere, and Komatsu machinery both in the shop and on-site. Applicants should possess interprovincial Red Seal certification and a rich experience background in mechanical repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service various heavy equipment types efficiently

• Identify faults in mechanical and hydraulic systems

• Conduct maintenance for trucks, trailers, and earth-moving vehicles

• Use tools for repair tasks diligently

• Collaborate effectively with the shop Foreman

Requirements:

• Current Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic certification

• Class 5 license with air brake endorsement required

• 10+ years of work experience

• Experience in welding preferred

• Certifications in CSTS, First Aid, and WHMIS beneficial
