Position: Electrical Testing Technician Opportunity
Powertech is seeking a dedicated High Current Lab Technician in Surrey, BC, to engage in low voltage and high-current testing of electrical components. Contribute your technical skills to vital industry projects.
This position involves setting up tests, conducting measurements, and ensuring accurate documentation of results for various high-current elements such as transformers and cables. You will be responsible for operating test instruments and assisting in the maintenance and calibration of equipment essential for our testing operations. Collaboration with a skilled team ensures you grow in a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up electrical tests under supervision and document results

• Operate computers and maintain testing instruments

• Create and modify test setups and jigs

• Maintain safety protocols and organized facilities

• Log test outcomes and related documentation
Requirements:

• Electronics certificate or related qualification

• At least two years of practical lab testing experience

• Knowledge of electrical testing and calibration

• Effective communication and organization skills

• Ability to perform physical tasks and use tools
