In the role of Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be supporting our maintenance facility by repairing and servicing heavy equipment. Jacob Bros is a leading construction firm in British Columbia, seeking individuals with a minimum of ten years’ experience and the necessary Red Seal certification. Your expertise will help us maintain critical machinery and ensure project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs on Caterpillar, Hitachi, Deere, and Komatsu equipment

• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement repairs

• Maintain and service trucks and earth-moving vehicles

• Use hand and power tools proficiently

• Work under the direction of the shop Foreman

Requirements:

• Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic certification

• Class 5 driver’s license with air brake endorsement

• Ten years of heavy equipment experience

• Welding skills considered a plus

• CSTS, First Aid, and WHMIS certifications are beneficial
