Electrifying Technician Position

Become a Power Cable Technician with Arctic Arrow in Surrey, specializing in high-voltage cable systems installation and maintenance. This role is pivotal in ensuring safe and efficient powerline operations.

As part of the team, you will manage electrical power transmission and distribution cable systems under the guidance of the Foreman. Your expertise in splicing and repairing cables will be essential, along with adhering to safety and quality measures. This position offers hands-on opportunities for those committed to excellence in powerline contracting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain underground electrical transmission systems

• Splice and terminate multi-conductor cables safely

• Interpret documentation for correct cable use

• Follow regulations for safe work practices in installations

• Operate necessary cable installation equipment

Requirements:

• Journeyman certification or related qualifications

• Experience in voltage applications from 12kV to 230kV

• Relevant industry experience of 1–10 years

• Preferred Class 3 Driver's License

• Ability to acquire necessary safety training certifications
