Journeyman Electrician Lower Mainland, BC – PTW is a leading provider of industrial and commercial electrical services in British Columbia.
Role SummaryPTW is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team in the Lower Mainland, BC. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced working in fast-paced industrial and commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Conduct inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and regulations.
- Complete job documentation, reports, and project records accurately.
- Collaborate with project teams, supervisors, and other trades to support successful project execution.
- Maintain a secure, organized, and professional work environment at all times.
- Licensed Electrician (Red Seal preferred).
- 2+ years of commercial and/or industrial electrical experience.
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the Lower Mainland region.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- Competitive compensation including $45/hour.
