Position: Surrey Refrigeration Engineer - Major Contract
Become a Refrigeration Engineer with Omega in Surrey, focussing on a leading supermarket contract. This permanent role emphasizes maintenance and repair of refrigeration and HVAC equipment across multiple sites.
As a Refrigeration Engineer, you'll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all technical paperwork is completed accurately. Your hands-on expertise will directly impact the efficiency of refrigeration equipment operations and enhance customer service interactions. This role requires effective communication and relationship-building with store management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned refrigeration maintenance within timelines

• Diagnose equipment faults and advise on replacements

• Complete all technical and compliance documentation

• Address service calls from the Helpdesk efficiently

• Manage activities on the standby rota, providing coverage when required
Requirements:

• NVQ/C&G refrigeration qualification and time-served apprenticeship

• CITB refrigerant handling certificate (C&G 2079)

• Strong skills in refrigeration and diagnostics

• Proficient in reading technical drawings

• Essential:
Full UK driving license
