Work as a full-time roofer in Surrey, BC, focusing on installing and repairing a variety of roofing systems. Engage in hands-on work across multiple locations, with no remote options available.
This role is designed for roofers skilled in asphalt shingles, built-up roofing, and single-ply materials. You will be expected to read and execute building plans, apply waterproof coatings, and repair damages effectively. The position involves physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working at significant heights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and replace roofing tiles and shingles
• Read and follow blueprints accurately to meet requirements
• Carry out repairs on roofs and single-ply systems
• Apply waterproof coatings to ensure lasting quality
• Work with metal roofing and flashings using necessary tools
Requirements:
• Experience with roofing materials and systems
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) regularly
• Reliable and team-oriented approach
• Strong physical capabilities and coordination
• Permanent resident or valid work permit holder
