Construction Carpenter Position BC

We are hiring a skilled Construction Carpenter located in Surrey, BC, offering competitive hourly wages of $30.00 to $37.00. This full-time, permanent role focuses on onsite construction.

Ideal candidates will have 2 to 3 years of carpentry experience and a secondary school diploma. In this physically demanding role, you will read blueprints, prepare layouts, estimate costs, and coordinate construction work. This position does not offer remote work opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed labor and material cost estimates

• Read blueprints and sketches to assess work requirements

• Ensure layouts comply with building codes

• Build foundations and construct walls and roofs

• Schedule work activities on-site efficiently

Requirements:

• 2 to 3 years of experience in carpentry

• High school graduation certificate

• Must work physically on-site

• Legal eligibility to work in Canada

• Must lift and handle heavy materials
