Join Weir as a specialized Welder in Surrey, BC, focusing on MIG, TIG, and Stick techniques in a clean work environment. Embrace the challenge of welding specialty materials while contributing to sustainable mining practices.

In this onsite position, you'll work afternoon shifts from 1:30 PM to midnight.

Your role is crucial in fabricating and repairing parts, ensuring compliance with welding standards, and positively impacting operations. You'll utilize your B Ticket and proven welding experience to read blueprints and interpret weld symbols accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding on pressure pipes using MIG, TIG, and Stick techniques

• Fabricate tools and repair worn parts according to specifications

• Collaborate with team members and support smooth operations

• Read blueprints to ensure accurate welds and fabrications

• Maintain a commitment to a safety-first work environment

Requirements:

• B Ticket with A classification

• Crane and forklift certifications

• Proven MIG, TIG, and Stick welding experience

• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols

• Clean industrial shop experience preferred
