Position: Field Heavy Equipment Technician at Brandt
Brandt is looking for a Resident Heavy Equipment Technician based in Squamish. This field role focuses on the maintenance and repair of construction machinery, driving efficiency and safety.

The technician will report to the Surrey branch and is responsible for diagnosing and repairing various equipment and their attachments. Facing the demands of a field environment, candidates need to combine technical skills with excellent communication abilities. Safety and service excellence are at the forefront of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair equipment conditions effectively

• Handle parts orders and document repair actions

• Utilize tools and technology, including John Deere Service Advisor

• Conduct road tests and assess attachment operations

• Ensure work meets safety and maintenance standards

Requirements:

• Prior mechanical experience in heavy equipment necessary

• Certification as a Journeyperson or equivalent preferred

• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds

• Strong communication skills with staff and customers

• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
