Become a Drywall Installer at 14685 62A Ave, Surrey, BC. This full-time position offers competitive pay at $36.60 per hour for qualified candidates with drywall experience.
We are looking for a reliable Drywall Installer with 2 to 3 years of experience and a secondary school graduation certificate. Your duties will include applying compound, cutting and installing drywall sheets, and fabricating suspended ceilings. This role requires working under pressure and performing physically demanding tasks, ensuring precision in every installation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply successive coats of compound and sand joints
• Cut and install metal corner beads for protection
• Fabricate and install ceiling grids with panels
• Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
• Position and secure drywall sheets to studs and joists
Requirements:
• Secondary school graduation certificate
• 2 to 3 years of drywall installation experience
• Own safety equipment: glasses and steel-toed boots
• Eligible as a permanent or temporary resident
• Strong judgment and reliability skills
