Commercial AV Installation Technician

Elevate your career with a full-time role as a Senior Installation Technician specializing in commercial AV, IT, and security systems. This position involves leading installations and mentoring junior technicians while ensuring high-quality workmanship.

You will report to the General Manager or Project Manager and engage with a variety of projects in restaurants, offices, retail spaces, and corporate facilities. Key responsibilities include installing and troubleshooting audio-visual systems, executing structured cabling, and configuring integrated technology systems.

Your role will lead teams, manage daily tasks, and foster a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure AV and low-voltage systems

• Lead field installations on construction and retrofit projects

• Troubleshoot audio, video, and control systems issues

• Mentor junior technicians on installation standards

• Maintain organized job sites according to WorkSafeBC

Requirements:

• Proven experience in AV and IT systems installation

• Ability to read architectural and AV line diagrams

• Strong troubleshooting skills with low-voltage systems

• Comfortable leading and collaborating with project teams

• Must be willing to travel for projects across BC
