Wage Rate: $36.75 per hour (30-32 Hours per week);
Overtime: $55.12 per hour

Various Locations over lower mainland Fraser Valley, Victoria, Nanaimo and other surrounding areas

Languages:

Basic Knowledge of English is required.

• Completion of High School
• 1-2 years of work experience in the trade

• Interpret and read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Use measuring tools to prepare layouts according to the client needs.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding, and hardware.
• Estimate material costs for clients.
• Do proper finishing on wood article shapes and paint properly.

Physically demanding.

• As per employment standards act
• Overtime after 40 hours per week
• 10 days Vacation Pay
• One-time $1000 paid to the hired employee to cover relocation and finding accommodation; we will help the hired carpenter to find suitable accommodation.
