Position: Drywall Installer (NOC 73102)

Takhar Drywall Ltd – Drywall Installer

Location:

14685 62A Ave, Surrey, BC V3S 3T1. This position is permanent and full‑time and may require work at additional nearby Lower Mainland sites.

Salary: $36.60 per hour

Number of Positions: 5

Job Duties
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels to create acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets.
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
Job Requirements
  • Education:

    Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience:

    2 to less than 3 years in drywall installation.
  • On site:
    Work must be completed at the physical location; remote work is not an option.
