Join GDI Ainsworth as a Lead Chargehand for our Electrical team in Vancouver. We're looking for a hands-on leader with experience in tenant improvement projects.
This role involves supervising small-to-medium crews, coordinating with Project Managers, and ensuring high-quality installations. Ideal candidates need at least 3 years of experience and preferably hold or aim to achieve FSR-B credential. You will enforce safety standards while managing daily tasks and project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise electricians on tenant improvement projects
• Plan daily work activities to meet deadlines
• Coordinate with Project Managers and tradespeople
• Interpret drawings and site instructions accurately
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
• Proven experience as Chargehand on commercial projects
• Knowledge of construction environments and coordination challenges
• Ability to read electrical drawings and circuit diagrams
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record
