Framer Carpenter

Position: Full-Time Framer Carpenter
Exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Framer Carpenter based in Surrey, BC, to contribute to ongoing construction and renovation projects. Competitive hourly wage offered.
We are on the lookout for two experienced Framer Carpenters ready to take on vital roles. You will engage in estimating materials, reading blueprints, and assembling various construction elements. Scheduling work and supervising a small crew will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring projects adhere to excellence and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate labor and material estimates

• Read and interpret project blueprints and drawings

• Measure, shape, and assemble woodworking materials

• Construct foundations and install structural systems

• Oversee the work of up to 4 subordinate workers
Requirements:

• High school graduation certificate or equivalent

• 1 to 2 years of carpentry experience

• Proficiency in the English language

• Must be authorized to work in Canada

• Effective supervisory skills
