Position: Field Technician for Transformer Services

The role of Field Technician requires a diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, alongside 2-3 years of industrial experience. You will troubleshoot and repair high-voltage components, including transformers and switch gear, while maintaining client relationships. Your commitment to safety, quality service, and effective communication will significantly impact project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on high voltage equipment

• Complete inspections for electrical and mechanical defects

• Document test results per company standards

• Collaborate with team members for optimal operations

• Mentor junior Field Technicians as needed

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or Journeyman Electrician

• 2-3 years experience in an industrial setting

• Knowledge of CSA, NETA, IEEE, NFPA standards

• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license for company vehicle use
