Work full time at Cobra Electric’s Port Kells yard using hand tools and supporting equipment handling. A Class 5 or 7 licence is required.
This General Labourer position reports to the Yard Supervisor and suits high school graduates seeking full time work. You will manage electrical-part recycling, maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas, and load or unload equipment. Forklift training is provided. The position requires Grade 12 education, a valid Class 5 or 7 driver’s licence, and willingness to work in all weather conditions.
Safety consciousness, commitment, dedication, and a positive can-do attitude are important.
- Manage recycling programs for various electrical parts
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, and storage areas
- Operate hand and power tools of all types
- Maintain equipment and tools as required
- Load and unload equipment with provided forklift training
- Grade 12 education
- Valid Class 5 or 7 driver’s licence
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
