Early Years Practitioner – Lingfield, Surrey

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly nursery team in Lingfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the early experiences of children aged 6 months to 4 years, in a nurturing environment where wellbeing and learning go hand in hand.

What you’ll be doingYou’ll play an active role in the day-to-day life of the nursery, working closely with parents, carers and other professionals to ensure every child feels safe, supported and inspired to learn. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Creating a stimulating, fun and caring learning environment
- Contributing to creative displays and enriching the nursery setting
- Promoting the wellbeing and development of each child
We’re looking for someone with experience in an early years setting who brings energy, warmth and a genuine passion for working with young children. You’ll need:
- A relevant childcare qualification (ideally NVQ Level 2 or
3) - Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work on your own initiative
- A team-focused mindset and a positive, can‑do attitude
- Experience of working in the independent school sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
We can offer full time or part time hours, working all year round. The nursery is open Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 6.00pm, and hours are worked on a shift basis within these times. We offer:
- 5.6 weeks’ paid holiday (inclusive of statutory holidays)
- Salary starting from £27,000 p.a. (full-time)
