The Opportunity
If you’re a Multi Skilled Electrical Technician with strong electrical skillset looking to step into a role that goes beyond routine maintenance, this is an opportunity to work in a truly dynamic and technically stimulating environment.
In this position, you’ll be part of a specialist engineering team responsible for maintaining complex, safety-critical systems. From high-performance ride systems to sophisticated control and automation technologies, you’ll gain exposure to equipment that combines electrical, mechanical, and PLC-based systems in ways rarely found elsewhere.
This is a role where your technical expertise directly impacts operational performance and guest experience. Every day presents new challenges—from planned preventative maintenance in the early hours to fast-paced fault finding and reactive repairs when systems are under pressure. It’s an environment where precision, safety, and teamwork are essential, and where your work plays a key role in delivering seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily pre-opening inspections, testing, and safety checks across a range of electrical systems, ensuring all assets are operational, compliant, and ready for use
Carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical equipment, control systems, and associated infrastructure
Diagnose faults efficiently using a methodical approach, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime
Respond promptly to breakdowns across the site, working under pressure while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality
Work collaboratively with mechanical technicians and operational teams to ensure all systems are maintained and repaired to the highest standard
Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to support troubleshooting and maintenance activities
Accurately complete maintenance records, reports, and documentation in line with compliance and regulatory requirements
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance reliability, efficiency, and safety across systems and processes
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a fast-paced or industrial environment (both planned and reactive)
Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure
A proactive, hands-on approach with high attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety
Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
Level 3 qualification (or above) in an electrical discipline
Full UK driving licence
Experience with control systems, PLCs, or automation would be advantageous, though not essential
What Makes This Role Different
A highly varied working environment where no two days are the same
Exposure to advanced engineering systems and technologies not commonly found in traditional industries
The opportunity to develop specialist skills in a unique technical field
A strong team culture focused on collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement
The satisfaction of seeing your work directly contribute to large-scale operations running safely and smoothly
Why Apply?
This role is ideal for an Electrical Technician who thrives on variety, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in maintaining complex systems to the highest standard. You’ll be joining a team where your technical skills are valued, your development is supported, and your work has a visible and immediate impact.
If you’re looking to move away from repetitive environments and into a role where your expertise contributes to something far more dynamic and engaging, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
