Location:

Surrey. Salary up to £42,000 + Benefits.

Working hours:

Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00.

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider supporting a critical healthcare contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a highly regulated environment, maintaining critical electrical infrastructure that supports the safe and efficient operation of essential services.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems across the site.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs safely and efficiently.
• Ensure electrical installations comply with current regulations and industry standards.
• Support statutory inspections, testing and certification requirements.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and prioritise critical systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using the CAFM system.
• Liaise with contractors and internal teams to support the delivery of engineering works.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures while working within a live critical environment.

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience in Facilities Management, Building Services, Healthcare or a similar maintenance environment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Good understanding of statutory compliance and safe working practices.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Previous experience working within a healthcare or critical environment.
• Experience working on critical building services infrastructure.
• Experience using CAFM or maintenance management systems.
