We’re Hiring:
Electrical Engineer
Location:
Surrey. Salary up to £42,000 + Benefits.
Working hours:
Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00.
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider supporting a critical healthcare contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a highly regulated environment, maintaining critical electrical infrastructure that supports the safe and efficient operation of essential services.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems across the site.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs safely and efficiently.
- Ensure electrical installations comply with current regulations and industry standards.
- Support statutory inspections, testing and certification requirements.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and prioritise critical systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using the CAFM system.
- Liaise with contractors and internal teams to support the delivery of engineering works.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures while working within a live critical environment.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge of 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Experience in Facilities Management, Building Services, Healthcare or a similar maintenance environment.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Good understanding of statutory compliance and safe working practices.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Previous experience working within a healthcare or critical environment.
- Experience working on critical building services infrastructure.
- Experience using CAFM or maintenance management systems.
- Salary up to £42,000.
