Caltrans Equipment Operator II in Lassen County is responsible for operating Category 1 and 2 equipment, end-dump trucks, snowplows and related vehicles to support highway maintenance. The work is performed under a Maintenance Supervisor and may involve solo or crew tasks.
Overtime, night and weekend shifts may be required due to storms or emergencies. This is a permanent intermittent position limited to 1,500 hours annually, with in-office work as specified.
